Step-by-step
- Export the 12/24 words from Exodus. Use Exodus’s official backup. If you only have a cloud password and no mnemonic, you cannot import into GaurdWallet.
- Import in GaurdWallet and compare. Match Ethereum and, if you used them, Solana and Bitcoin receive screens. Stop if any address you care about differs.
- Move unmapped assets on-chain. For coins GaurdWallet does not list, keep Exodus or send those assets to a wallet that supports them. Do not force a wrong network.

This is not Exodus support and not a “migrate with one click” service. Anyone offering to convert an Exodus backup in your browser is stealing the seed.
Assets that will not appear
If Exodus showed a chain GaurdWallet does not enable (or a non-standard derivation), the balance still exists on-chain under those keys — this UI simply will not display it. Send from Exodus to a GaurdWallet Receive address on a supported network instead of assuming the ticker will pop up after import.

FAQ
Can I import Exodus without a seed phrase? No. GaurdWallet has no Exodus file parser, no iCloud decryptor, and no support backdoor. BIP-39 words or an on-chain send are the only paths.
Will my Exodus 12-word phrase match Bitcoin? Only if Exodus used BIP-84 native SegWit for that account. GaurdWallet Receive is bc1… at m/84'/0'/0'/0/0. If Exodus showed a 1… address, it is a different path — send BTC on-chain rather than guessing.
Is GaurdWallet cheaper than Exodus exchange? We do not markup network fees. Aggregator routes still take protocol fees. Compare the live quote in Exchange; we do not publish fake spreads.
